Ranked in the top 50 best golf schools in America by Golf Magazine, Kohler Golf Academy provides year-round golf instruction with practice facilities at Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits during the golf season and at the Kohler Golf Academy Indoor Studio, located at The Shops at Woodlake, during the winter months.

Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors

Kohler Golf Academy, with guidance from the PGA Sports Academy, uses a fun, systematic approach to encourage long-term player development. Offering three levels of instruction (Sport, Player, and Champion), the program focuses on five core elements to help youth learn, develop and practice skills to become better golfers and enjoy the sport of golf.

Golf and Physical Assessments

All participants will be exposed to the fundamentals of golf including short game, long game, putting, rules and etiquette. To provide a safe and intimate teaching environment, each session will be limited to thirty students with a 5:1 student/teacher ratio. The objective of the program is for each child to learn to play golf and have fun in the process.

Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors - Starter Level (Parent & Child)

The Starter Level of the Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors Program is a six-week session in June, July and August taught by PGA golf professionals at Blackwolf Run or Whistling Straits. This level of golf instruction is recommended for juniors ages 4-6 just starting the game of golf. Parents will participate with the child during each session.

Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors - Sport Level

The Sport Level of the Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors Program is a one-week session in June or July taught by PGA golf professionals at Blackwolf Run or Whistling Straits. This level of golf instruction is recommended for juniors at a beginner skill level with limited golf experience.

Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors - Player Level

The Player Level of the Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors Program is a one-week session in June or July taught by PGA golf professionals at Blackwolf Run. This level of golf instruction is recommended for juniors with an intermediate skill level.

Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors - Champion Level

The Champion Level of the Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors Program is a nine-week session in June, July and August taught by PGA golf professionals at Blackwolf Run or Whistling Straits. This level of golf instruction is recommended for juniors ages 14-17 with an advanced skill level. This level is designed for juniors looking to play high school golf and includes competitive matches with private golf clubs in the area.

Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors - Open Practice Sessions

All Kohler Golf Academy for Juniors participants are invited to open practice sessions which will be supervised by Kohler Golf Academy instructors at an 8:1 student/teacher ratio.

Get Golf Ready Clinics - Spring Session

Kohler Golf Academy’s Get Golf Ready Clinics for spring 2013 will help you improve your game through five sessions at Whistling Straits taught by PGA golf professionals. Built for golfers of all skill levels, these clinics are broken down into beginner and intermediate/advanced categories.
